I have the pro-comp 4" and bilstien shocks. I really like it, it's not too high to work off the tailgate, I clear my 35" tires pretty well (aside from not having enough offset on the stock wheels and rubbing on the leafs), and it's not bad to climb into.
I recall the front springs being mil-wrapped which is a nice feature. I have a few pictures in my gallery and a big picture in the first link of my signature.

my truck has a 4" procomp in it..
im completly happy with it.. ride is on the stiff side compared to some kits but not "dumptruck" stiff..
personaly i think teh ride quality is exactly what it should be for a 3/4Ton 4WD truck...
i know some people prefer kits with "softer" ride springs thou...
no experience with "Zone" thou... got a link ???

For the 99-04 trucks ICON formerly Danahoe Racing. Is the best riding 4 or 4.5 inch suspension out their. It is a little more money and I have never heard 1 complaint about their suspesions in 4 years of being on this forum. I Don't have their 4.5 inch lift but I have their mini spring pack and it is grade A quality built in the US products.

Pro-comp - Also made is USA. I can show pics of the "made in USA" stampings on my lift components.

I am shopping 4" lifts as well. If you shop you can find the Procomp for almost the same price as the zone on that page. Important point is that the zone kit does not appear to have a pitman arm. You are going to want that. That will surely put you at the same money as the procomp once you find and purchase that. It is also interesting that they use a whole new track bar where most others provide a new bracket. I am going to choose to lift the back with a leaf rather than stacking large blocks (like the zone) I am also considering using the 350 block (4") instead of my 250 instead of stacking a 1" on top of my current 2' 250 blocks. That will add an additional inch in the back but I also like the back to be a little higher than the front anyway. It will make for some interesting experimenting when I install.

Thanks eightrac. I always wondered about that because everyone says they are 2 and 4 inch blocks but mine in my 250 actually measures around 1 3/4" near as I can get to it. Add the 7/8' from the procomp kit to that and it actually makes the 350 block a wash or just taller. I think that is going to be perfect for what I want. I have been trying to find pics of trucks with the procomp 4" lift on them to see how "level" they really are. Would you consider yours to be level or a little higher on one end or the other?

Now comes the harder choice,
Lift kit from procomp
or
AR-15
