Made a deal on a New Truck!!

I went into the dealer with my F150 because she died in the middle of the road and left me stranded. After the repair was made (fuel pump modualator) 499.00 . Was told by service it will happen again due to bad design!! I was kinda mad cuz the 150 is a Screw 5.4 loaded to the hilt that cost 44k back then, has only 43000 miles on it. I said that sucks ***** and he said if you want to buy a new one they are dealing on the 2012 models. I said ok and walked to sales... I picked out a 2012 F250 Sc SB lariet 6.2l in tuxedo black with some chrome options and such that stickered for 46852.00 I said to the salesman..what will you give me for my truck on that 2012... They said 25k and we will sell you that truck for invoice ..42326.00 I'm thinking its a good deal and I'm buying that F250 !! What do you think??? Any problems with your 6.2l ??? I saw a few videos on youtube...but hey nobody posts the good only the bad.. I dont want to get into payments on something that might give me trouble...

Nothing but good reviews on the 6.2 from what I've read (a lot, looking here) so I dont think you'll be disappointed at all. Wait til you step into the go pedal, a LOT quicker than the 5.4 at about the same fuel economy.
I do think the dealer may have been a little high on his "INVOICE" pricing but they seem to have given decent trade dime on the F150.
Good luck and don't forget to post pics.

I'm somewhat of an early adopter, my truck's a job 2 '11. Have had it a little over 2 years, have about 20k on it. Nothing major so far, truck runs strong.

Definitely post up some pics if you get the truck, sounds nice!

I figured if they came close to what I wanted for my truck and they moved on that sticker I would seriously think about it. They gave me more than I wanted, and when i shopped another local dealer who had the same truck with out a 1600.00 option package that they had at 42859.00. I told him straight up I'm gonna get the best deal possible cuz I dont need a truck..I want a new truck!! He said I will sell at invoice and still give you 25k for your truck. I then called the other dealer and asked what there best price was and they said they already discounted the truck and would only beable to give me 20k for my truck.. I then walked back in and played hardball with the salesman to see if they would move anymore. The owner of the dealership then approached me and said you are my customer and we are not gonna lose a valued customer to someone over 1600.00 . He then said I will drop my price to meet the other truck, I almost crapped my pants cuz he already was offering me 3 k more for my trade and the truck he had did have the 1600.00 options that the other dealers truck did not. I then drove it....my wife turned to me and said hell yeah baby buy it!! So looks like we are gonna call them back and say go for it!! I was some what smart and left them a 500.00 deposit that is refundable if I changed my mind. I am so jacked!! He said if I gave them the go I could pick her up Tuesday!! I will post pics and change my avatar if it all goes down!!
