Trade the 07 F150 for a 2012 SD 6.2l

My truck left me stranded last week, had to get towed to dealer for repair. After she was fixed, 499.00 later I walked out and saw a beautiful 2012 F250 SD lariet SC 6.2l . I was bitching to the service manager about how the F150 had just been in the shop and he said they are dealing on the 2012 models. So I ask for a serious offer on my trade. They came back and gave me 3k more than what I wanted!! So if all goes well I might just buy that new truck. What do you think?? Keep the 150.. or buy a new 250 that was stickered at 48k for 23K?? Yep they offered me 25k for my truck!!

That sounds like an awful tempting deal to me. Especially since you have a plow on the front of your 150. I would think a 250 would hold up to that a lot better. Will your plow switch over to the new truck? Did they want it left on your old truck for trade?

The 2007 F150 has 43000 miles on it. I just put that plow on it in the fall, so only plowed with the truck 3 times this year. I didnt have it on the truck when they looked at it. I called the distributor and they will swap it to my new truck. They are gonna charge me for the push plates only and 200.00 to install on new truck. The dealer didnt notice the fishstik or the push plates, so they dont want it as far as trade... I think I'm calling in the morning and telling him yes and I will pick it up the next day after work!!

I guess if was not for bad luck I would have no luck...called the salesman this morning and said I would take the truck!! He called me back said I could pick it up tomorrow, so I'm driving home from work and I get a battery light and check charging system message ...?? I try to get it home but didnt make it. Dead again on the side of the road....wtf!!
