Straight pipe void warranty?

I have some power train warranty left on my truck and have been itching to get a 4 inch MBRP striaght pipe. Even though it is better for the turbo etc. I am assuming this would void the warranty I have left? Anyone have experience with this first hand?

The warranty is through a private company and they replaced the turbo no questions asked when I first bought the truck(Veins binded due to lack of use). And my experience with them has been positive so far if that makes a difference.

A Cat back exhaust wouldn't void anything, legally cannot remove the cat and not sure what a downpipe to cat would do for a warranty.

Most dealers won't work on a truck that has the emissions defeated. Referring to engine type warranty. Should have nothing to do with rear ends etc.

They have to prove that it caused the issue, so no it shouldnt.. at the same time, if you have the old parts.. its easier to have them installed before going into the dealer

I think part of it would depend on if you have a nice and cool
person working in service that may over look some small things.
The only other way would be to get some one to stick there neck out
and put it on paper that it would be OK.

But if you have a good guy like Benny did then you may be ok also.

Yeah my service guy is a variable I do not really know him that well but he seems alright. I guess i will just wait it out, with all the warranty work done on 6.0's I can only imagine the lengths they will go to void it. Thanks for the info guys.
