I bought a better start than that for 400 bucks

I wouldn't give your 3700 for the whole of Cleveland

Way to darn much money for that hoopty. In in the Reno area where people think anything older than 1980 is worth GOLD because of Hot August Nights that is over priced.

I think 272's and 292's magically become 312's on sale day

Yep , the 272 magical engine, sorta like a FE 360 changing to a 390 on sale day .

400 bucks will get you a rusty cab or a couple decent body panels up north. I think the truck looks very restorable, but and after you strip it you'll need to re buy half the truck or spend a couple years repairing panels anyway so 3700 is too high.
