Some questions
Does any body out in Ford land have a 1960 F100 running a 390 w/automatic?
The f100 I have stripped down has a 390 w/automatic. It was a project started from the previous owner but never put in running condition. I have questions aobut exhaust, linkage, steering items. Also, the frame seems to be a 250 frame because the wheel bolt is 8 bolts and has heavy springs with air shocks. Not sure the rear end, 10 bolt pattern. I have everything off the frame (cab, bed, engine, fenders, tranny). Trying to figure out which way to go and what process. Looking to make it nice, but not diaper clean vehicle. I drive my vehicles kind of hard. I have 67 mustang coupe, looks nice, but has its little flaws here and there. Open to all suggestions and always looking for new ideas. This will be actually for my wife, originally for me. You know how that goes . She said I could drive it once in awhile if I am good. I am going to try to be really good. Thanks in advance for all input. Go Seahawks!!
