Thanks for the advise Pap. But I am not sure what to look for to tell if the CC TSB changed though.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If I get one that has a good, clean interior and body, I can work on the bushings and mechanics to improve ride. I am more app to repair that kind of stuff anyway. I have a habit of ignoring cracked seats and stuff like that. I think I want to keep this truck a stock driver too.

For the CC TSB, just take the Vin to any Ford dealer and it will tell you if it was installed. They had alot of fires from the original one.

My 86 had a bad vibration in it and you could tell it was from driveshaft. After inspecting the u-joints i found slop in the double/cardon joint at the front of the drive shaft. Napa had a replacement ball/stud for it, cost about $90
