Need older Ranger bed sizes 93-98
I have a truck shell that was left on one of my properties that i would like to sell. The problem is i do not know exactly what it came off from. I was told it came off from a 94 Ford Ranger. I have been trying to find bed size specs for that year truck but do not know where to find them.
The actual measurements of the truck shell are 60 1/2" x 86" outside to outside of shell.
I hope someone out there can tell me what this shell might go on or where i can find bed specs. Thanks. I appreciate any help you could offer.

Rangers used the same inside bed stampings for decades, from the 80s through the 90s. I know this to be true firsthand, as I transported a 94ish shortbed inverted on the back of my 91 ranger extended cab (shortbox) using 2x2s in the stake holes, and they most definitely line up!
What did change in 1993 is the bodies got widened, about an inch and a half on each side. What they did was flare out the box sides below the top of the box (that's why you have a longer filler neck on the 93 and ups). So a pre/post 93 cap will physically fit a pre/post 93 truck OF THE SAME BOX CONFIGURATION, but may look weird on the wider/narower body lines.
Box configuration: don't have exact dimensions, but 3 different box configs I know:
Fleetside Shortbox: 6 ft long by approx 5 ft wide (inside)
Fleetside Shortbox: 7 ft long by approx 5 ft wide (inside) - I'm thinking this is what your cap should fit
Flareside Shortbox: 6 ft long by < 5 ft wide (inside) - at least 6inches narrower (cargo area) than fleetside
