engine not firing on drivers side
The truck will run for the first 2 seconds then starts missing and running like crap. I have tried to unplug each injector and couldnt tell a difference. I have replaced the valve cover gasket w the clips and have around 1200 psi oil pressure and 50lbs of fuel pressure. I can tell they are not firing because the exhaust manifold stays cool while the other gets hot. It doesnt smoke and starts every time but runs real rough. Please help.

Though I will preface this with the fact that this is just conjecture on my part, I don't believe there's enough difference in these readings to make one "good" and the other "bad", even though they are not identical.
I wouldn't rush out to replace some of them, at least not yet...
This could also be an IDM problem, or that common return wire back to it.

I asked him to unplug the injector reading 2.2 in the other thread to see if that made a difference before he ran out and started buying injectors. Hoepfully we hear back.
cyclospot, go ahead and start posting the rest of your info in this thread since this section has more people that can help you than the super duty section that covers many different years and motors.

Alright, I unplugged each of the injectors individually and it didnt seem to make a differance on how it ran. I did unplug the whole bank and it would not start. Like I said it would normally run for a sec or two then start running rough. Weird. The 1200psi was gauged off of the high pressure oil that the injectors use. 1200 on a 3000 psi gauge. I think it dropped back some after it ran for a little while. I replaced the harness ( with the gasket) from the injectors to the first plug. Did not change any. If I get these injectors tomorrow I will start with the low one first and see what gives. I checked for a recalls and ford didn't list any.
How does 1 injector going bad make the other 3 in that bank quit working?
