I have a 02 motorhome on a ford E 450 chassius. I would like to change the fuel filter. Can someone tell me where it is located, and does it take special tools? Someone told me it needed some kind of special tool, but could not tell me where the filter is located. Thanks Stan

 

The fuel filter will be located on the inner side of the left frame rail. Pretty much right under where the cab ends and the coach starts. Yes you will need a special tool to remove the fuel lines, which you can borrow from most nationwide parts stores or you can purchse an inexpensive set also.
