1974 F250 4x4 rear D60

Is the 74' F250 rear D60 4x4 axle low pinion? what year did the high pinion come out? Is it also a full floater and what 30 spline and 66" wms to wms?

Thanx,
Todd

High pinion refers to front axles not rear. The front high opinions in Fords started in I think 76.

All rear Dana 60's are low pinion. Only the front 60 axles, 77.5 and up are high pinion. Could be a 16 or a 30 spline.

I think pre-'76's had 16 spline.
