Advice on a stereo /blue tooth/ back up camera

Hoping some of you could chime in on a good replacement stereo system for my 04 X?
I do not need some $5k system just a good touch screen with blue tooth, iPod, pandora, back up camera, sat radio etc. also options on replacement speakers. I have looked at the pioneer and kenwood. Forgot the model but looks like pricing is around $800 and up for the head unit?

What have you guys done? Thanks in advance for any ideas

Im running the Kenwood ddx719. Check it out I love mine! Also have a back up camera installed. Just drilled it next to the center glass/door handle. hits the ball on my hitch perfect. I had another kenwood (ddx419) in my Superduty and i loved it as well.

I haven't done anything yet but have been researching and looking at all kinds of head units because I want navi and dvd.

many go with Kenwood because the navi part is powered by garmin.

Personally I have been looking for a sony (powered by tomtom) simply because I like sony and the face layout on the sony looks nice to me.

Here is what I have installed:
Sony XAV-72BT from ebay ($375), Leviathan Holdings 170 deg, CCD Rear View Camera from ebay ($99), Kicker PH12 12” powered sub with enclosure from Best Buy ($250), Kenwood 6x8 (6) KFC-C6893PS from ebay ($150)
Everything works good except I don't have the head unit hooked to the factory rear dvd player (which I don't use anyway). You have to have the correct adapter to make it work. I might get it hooked up in the future though.

The camera works great. It is attached at the top of the tag. It automatically comes on any time you put the truck in reverse.

I wasn't looking for a booming system like I had when I was younger. I just wanted a little better than stock and the ability to have the back-up camera (which is worth its weight in gold when hooking up my trailers).

Stay away from Pioneer. I ignored a friends advise and regret it. The maps suck!

I ordered a Clarion NX702 last week for my X.

Looks like the best bang for the buck right now. The metro 3D maps are killer.

Just had a DDX719 installed with backup cam and am loving it. Still need to get the Garmin app, but the bluetooth functionality (for both audio and phone) is great. Of course, anything is better than the stock head unit that was in place.

I have an old, old stereo Pioneer Avic-Z1 but it just keeps on working.

for the backup camara I just popped a hole in the center of my rear license plate, I dont like cutting permanent holes in my vehicles.

Also, the camara is a <$10 hong kong unit, if you get the 1/3" optics camaras they are much better quality. I bought the 1/4" optics ones but they got water in them every rainy season, the 1/3" one is going strong after 2 rainy seasons, image is much better too. The only thing I miss is the 1/4" ones had distance reference lines on them.

I have the Pioneer Avic X930BT. I like it...the Nav works very well, as does the bluetooth for my phone, the FM; CD; AUX (USB) work great.....BUT...I can't plug in my Android phone to use the apps.....and they are not going to upgrade the firmware to fix this issue. I was told they would have an update for the maps last summer....none yet.......

I have a kenwood DNX6180, bluetooth, NAV (with traffic for free) Pandora (*thru Iphone internet connection) and backup camera (sat radio capabilities with add on).

After the latest firmware update everything works VERY well and fast. If I had to do it all over again I would get the 6190HD that has HD radio tuner built in, I miss that from my car. Plays DVD's while going down the road so kids can watch no problem.
