After blasting the layers of paint off mine this summer I think this truck is the same color mine was from the factory, or course my interior plate is missing so im not sure of the exact name of the color.

I have never seen the overdrive trim piece on the front end.... is this original???

That is a nice original looking truck, I also don't recall ever seeing it before so I guess some of them do slip past me.. must have been the one week last year I was actually busy doing something productive...

Oh ya and I am Cheap! Really Really Cheap hahaha

The picture of the bed shows that the bed boards were painted body color. This is, or was, an amazing stock original. Even looking at the FORD letters on the tailgate show how well they were painted. When I got my truck painted I had teh body man paint the letters but they didn't look real good. Several years later I had the gate repainted and then put on the stick on letters. They looked better. I have often wondered: for what colors did they paint the letters black and what colors did Ford paint the letters white?

Well Abe, how about those mirrors?

It's hard to imagine that this truck is as original as it is and someone replaced those.

The front wheels look centered on the fenders.

There's nothing on TV tonight (there never is). The link above to the Classic Recollections website led me to their YouTube channel, which I am really enjoying. This 1957 Aston Martin DB Mark III is my favorite so far.
