I recently bought a 2005 F250 diesel. In 4 - 5 weeks a clicking noise started coming from the passenger kick panel. It does at random times. Almost sounds like the clicking of a blinker. Any ideas what it may be and how do I get rid of it?

 

if it ticks when your on the gas pedel and not when you let off and coast then it sounds like an exhaust manifold leak.
oops I was thinking of the 5.4 gas engine, my bad can't say I have a clue.
