'05 F250 5.4 starved for fuel?
Hello all,
Am new here. Sure need some help/ideas/input.
Truck was running fine, then just shut off, while driving thru town. Would not start any more that day. Would try to turn over, but, seemed like it wasn't getting gas. The next day it would crank up and run for a short time and then shut off again. This went on for about a week. Installed a new fuel pump and had same results. Checked fuel pump while out and got a strong stream. Fuel filter was clean, but, replaced anyway.
What now, would appreciate any help.
170,000 miles, regular maintenance.

It sounds like the Fuel Pump Driver Module. It's a common problem on F150s, and I believe the 250 uses the same or a similar part. On the 150 it is mounted on a crossmember above the spare tire. Not sure where it is on a 250. They corrode and crack causing failure like you describe.
Do a search for FPDM and you should come up with lots of info
