Mag-Hytec group buy

Im getting ready to buy the diff covers & tranny pan for my Excursion and with the success of the redhead buy, I was thinking about trying to put together a group buy if enough people were interested, I haven't talked to anyone there & don't know if they would be game for it, so I have zero details at this point.... Like I said, I'm just gauging interest. So what say you guys & gals, any interest?

yea don't waste your money on that overpriced JUNK. Buy a 6.0 diesel transmission cooler and install that instead, you'll actually see a drop in tran's temp's

Not buying it solely for the cooling effect, my trans pan has a lot of rust... I have a 6.0 tc/ic in the shop waiting to go on also

If they would make a two piece replacement oil pan, I would be down for two of those.

go with the 08 diff cover, 50.00 and actually does something besides costing you extra for fluids. For the trans just get a new OEM pan. There was a few articles I read where they stated the pans really do nothing, just cost you more in fluids. As for the transmission there really isnt much circulation in the pan itself so the 6 additional qts just means longer to get the trans to temp and more slushy fluid to pump when its cold.

Ok, I hadn't thought about the 08 cover, which is goofy because I just changed the oil in the diffs of my 2010.... How about a front diff cover?

Diff covers would be well worth it if they have drain plugs, just did both mine and no drains so I had to pull them both off. Added pretty much 24 hours to the diff service as well as time to clean surfaces and put RTV on and let cure. I was glad to see the stock finned rear cover but was amazed at no drain plugs in either of them. Rear cover also has a small channel that you have to clean all the RTV out of, really makes your day.

Ran MagHytec on my '97 and loved them, drain plugs, holes for temp sensors, finned, aluminum.
