95 f-150 1 ton sas question!!!!

hey everyone im in the process of sas'ing my 95 f-150. im about to order my leafs for the front. i was going to order 10" lift leafs for an 95 f-350. i was looking around and now im wondering if i could get 99+ superduty springs to work. and if they could would the 6" ones give me around the 10" that i need? the price difference is about twice as much for obs f-350 springs.

thanks,
Bill

You can use SD springs but modifications will need to be made. But since you are making leaf springs moving the front hanger will be no big deal. Also drilling out the rear hangers is no big deal either

Is there a large difference between the F150 and the F250/350 frames?

If there isn't, you could look at a Precision Metal Fab 2.5" RSK (Reverse Shackle Kit). This will net you your first 2.5" of lift (3.5" & 4.5" are also offered). If the F150 TTB is similar to the F250 TTB, going to a Dana 60 will net around 2" of lift as well. If those numbers all add up, 6" Superduty lift springs should get you +/- 10" of lift on the 2.25" RSK. Depending on prices, you could look at lower lift springs (might ride better with less arch), and a higher lift on the RSK.

What's your plan for the rear end?

That website is wayyyy to much. 400$ for 1 spring? are you crazy?

Superlift 6" Lift Front Leaf Springs, Pair

Those are 6" springs for 419 a pair. You can get them for the diesel f350 which they'll probably be stiffer but itll probably make you into a bobble head after every bump. the ride will be horrible.

Those are what you need. JBG even has the rear 6" lift springs as well that will work.

From my understanding you just have to cut the spring perches for the leaf spring off and weld C perches on for the radius arms.

I havent done alot of reasearch on it, but its very possible. More than one person has done it.

And then I believe you can just use 77-79 f150 lift coil springs to gain your lift.
