front coil springs touching ibeams.

i installed a pair of aim 3" lowered ibeams, and the springs are touching the beams. ive had these beams for over 13 years on my 87 and never had a problem with them. but when i installed them on my 94 the spring hits. has anyone had this problem? here is a pic. ive been doing some reading over on the lightning board, and those guys say these trucks like to crack the middle crossmember and ibeam mounts.

What about your Radius Arm Bushings, etc?

when i put the truck together,i replaced:

radius arm bushings, ball joints, brake pads and rotors

the ibeam pivot bushings are urethane and are in perfect condition.

the radius arm brackets had some damage from rust and were blasted and repaired. everything on the front end was blasted and epoxy painted before re-install.

Looks like it's barely touching. I don't see what it will hurt.

I can't remember, is it possible to rotate the spring in the upper mount? Maybe get a little clearance that way. Otherwise take the grinder to it or try a little grease on that spot to keep the noise down.

No I done belive it can rotate as the top keys in to a flat.

To the lowerd truck comment. Lol, try to haul something in a truck that high? Lmao. My truck has only a 3-5 drop. Now its easy to load my quad. Can haul as much as I want still. Tow the race car ext ect
