I've gone ahead and done it!
Finally after much debate with myself, I baptized my Toyota steering box. I always figured on painting it black and then the thought occured to leave it unpainted. After a lot of yes and no I decided to give it a shot of Old Ford Blue. Now it doesn't matter to me if it's foreign. Any way, It's 'sorta' 49 Ford and gonna be part of the truck now. lol.

Paint is good. I ended up painting my Caddy engine Ford blue. No one in town carried the Caddy blue and I didn't feel like waiting for an order to come in, Besides, its sitting between Ford rails, under a Ford hood, etc. It looks good in Ford blue
Now, go bolt it up and get the truck rolling
