Morning, I have a 95 F150 with a 5.0 engine. The "Off" light on the transmission shift stalk has started to flash. This happened once before and eventually went away. Then the transmission would bog down intermittently when stopping and the truck would stall out. I would have to restart the engine.
Any suggestions?

 

for starters,pull the codes in the computer.

 

Yeah that flashing light indicates there is a transmission fault. The computer will have the diagnostic code stored already so just read the code and we'll help you troubleshoot.
