Running late this morning. Started the truck and went, but only to find out the CEL came on. There was a lot of hisssing coming while I was driving since the engine was still very cold or the oil dropped down enough to trigger the light as it did before.

All I have to say is one month out of no payments and the CEL comes on again.....WTF

You can fix the CEL by removing the dash, plucking out that annoying bulb, then reinstalling the dash.

All great choices. I do have an AE and would clear it out that way. If it's my dummie light for the oil I think I'll check that before I leave work.

Santa upgraded my stereo. Now I have a usb port. Thumb drive with 2700 songs on it. Now I don't have to listen to blabbering. Very cool.

Al. Just remove the bulb. Much easier, and it'll never bother you again!

Ahh, one little light bulb isn't going to stop a 7,000 pound truck!

Just checked the truck with the AE and popped up with P0471 exhaust pressure sensor range performance, and P0476 exhaust pressure control valve range performance.

dont know if it was because the truck was so cold and I just started to hammer on it cause I was late for work or what. I cleared the codes and restarted the truck rev'd it up and nothing came back on. Is this a warning "jackass i'm cold" light or what.
