1993 - 1997 RHD diesel

Did ford import any 7.3 diesel F series in 1993 - 1997 as right hand drive?

Or does anyone have one?

If so can you post a picture of the steering box and steering column in the engine bay showing their relation to the exhaust manifold on that side.

TIA

None were officially imported, with the exception of some conversions of US models that were Ambulances.

Thanks.

Thought that was the case.

Have an issue with my steering column, steering box with the exhaust manifold being in the way but I think I've worked out a solution.

What ever you come up with can't be any worse than the Ford Australia solution to the RHD 7.3 TD F250 set up - i.e. TWO steering boxes, the FA added RH one 'driving' the original LH one. A system with alledged 'designed in vagueness' so vague (4%) that apparently it needed special dispensation from the steering accuaracy standard of the day (1%).

So you should end up with the best steering RHD 7.3 on the planet!

Looking at using components from here

Borgeson

Single uni at the top and double uni to get around the exhaust manifold at the bottom. Shaft with support in between.

Still won't be able to use the mechanical fuel pump as the steering box and it can't occupy the same space.

I'm going to wait until I've got the cab transferred then look at what will work.

Just go full hydro, don't need to worry about a steering shaft
