I'm confused on what oil to use in my 08 SD. I checked the owners manual and all it said was to use 5w-20 that meets wss-m2c-930-a. My question is, Does the MC Sny Blend 5w-20 meet this or do I need the full syn. Confusedon the service enterval is 7500 miles. I thought this would mean it was full syn. my dealer only uses the syn blend. thanks Alex

 

The MC synthetic blend meets that spec. You could also run synthetic. I'm running Mobil 1 extended performance in my 2007 v-10. I have 7700 miles on it thus far and its getting an oil analysis this week to see where things are...

Chevron Delo all dino oil for me. I am not a fan of synthetics plus they cost way more than a good dino IMHO.
