Misfire Issues? Please Help.

Hi all. I did a search and couldn't find much that really helped me so I figure it's time to ask. I replaced the spark plugs on the truck tonight and when I fired it up, the engine was shaking like no other. It's never done that before. I took it for a test drive, and the truck is missing like crazy. I have no idea what the issue is, and need the truck by tomorrow.. If anyone has any ideas, they're greatly appreciated.

I tried posting the truck info by my name but I'm new to the site and I'm not sure if it worked. If not:

1996 F150
4.9 300 Inline Six
5 Speed Manual Trans
2WD

Thanks!

We checked that first, all the wires are connected good, which is why we are so confused

Sounds like wires are connected wrong. I take your word that you checked, but be sure that everything from the distributor is correctly wired. I did the same thing years ago and could not figure it out. After checking and checking, it was misrouted wires. Could also be loose cap and rotor. Just a couple of thoughts.

Depending on how old and what kind of condition the plug wires are in they sometimes get damaged when removing them. If they are good connections and routed correctly it may be worth checking spark individually
