Yeah that carb sucks. But it is needed especially if you live where they do emmisions testing.

Can anybody help me out ? I bought a 2000 F-350 4x4 crew cab long bed . Runs great but i am loosing oil somewhere . Not leaking any thou . The engine has always made a popping sound too , that comes and goes . I lost around 2 quarts of oil just going to lewiston Idaho from Emmett Idaho and back . I am using , T-6 oil . Have a , K&N oil filter also . Had a Long time Ford diesel guy looking at it and he can't think of what it could be but did say the popping was maybe a cam walking on me ?? He worked on the diesels for Ford for 26 years he said . All i know is , i am still loosing oil . Truck is not smoking thou . Just don't understand . This is my first Diesel . had a V-10 , 2004 and gave it up . Went with this clean diesel . I do love the things I hear about the 7.3 . Can anybody help me with this ? thanks so much .
