1967 thru 1972 Master Cylinder Brakes Lines

Hi Guys! -

I installed a power brake booster and dual chamber master cylinder from a 1969 Ford in my 1966 Ford F100. Does anyone have a pair of donor brake lines for sale that come off the side of the master cylinder? If not, where can I can the fat brass adapters that would screw into the cast master cylinder housing to accept the standard 3/8" brake line nut?

Thank You!
Dan M.

Have you tried Napa, to see if they'd carry them? Might have to take the master cylinder in with you.

Greetings! -

I installed a 1969 Ford F100 dual master cylinder (MC) with power brake booster in my 1966 Ford F100. If anyone is curious on the brass adapters needed to convert the MC body threaded ports to 3'8" brake lines, here are the part numbers from several manufacturers:

3/8"-24 Inverted Flare to 1/2"-20 Inverted Flare
  • AGS BLF-20
  • Edelmann 258350
  • Weatherhead 7909
  • NAPA BK 6413305
3/8"-24 Inverted Flare to 9/16"-18 Inverted Flare
  • AGS BLF-28
  • Edelmann 258302
  • Weatherhead 7911
  • NAPA BK 6413311
I bought my fittings from NAPA and they were relatively inexpensive and a perfect fit. O'Reilly's, Autozone, RockAuto, etc. will also have them. I am fairly certain these fittings will work on all 1967 through 1972 master cylinders and other years as well. Hope this helps!
