Hello to all my fellow Ford enthusiest I would like to share some of my Ford history. My name is Tony I started out with a 68 Galaxie 500 purchased in California back in 1983 I drove cross country in my luxurious new ride, it taught me lessons I shall never forget. I became stranded in Salt Lake City, Utah only to learn that it needed a minor adjustment, you see the throttle linkage had gotten hooked on an electrical line and severed it and this caused the points to close by readjusting themselves from the vaccum advance. Piece of cake I took out a book of matches and reset the points and fixed the broken wire and I was off again heading east. The whole truth is that that is when cars were easy to fix and work on, the same principles still apply today fuel and spark and you have power just a tad more involved these days. That moment is what sold me on Ford and its been a pleasure owning them since. I currently own a 1988 Cab and Chasis F-450 Super Duty that I bought brand new for $14,500 and my new baby will be in the last week of June a 2003 F-350 FX4 Centenial edition crew cab, short bed with the 6 liter diesel and 5 speed auto torque shift . You should see the smile on my face as I await deliverary of this new TOY, Sturgis should be a very nice ride out to say the least. In closing I would like to share with you all that my wife, kids and myself visited the Ford Edison museum in Ft. Meyers, Florida and if you ever get the opportunity it is a must, Henry Ford was a genious and a very generous man, for he GAVE his friend Thomas Edison a custom Model A every year. BE SAFE ALL WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS! TONY
