weathertech bug guard and vent visors

Installed the weather tech bug guard and vent visors today! Looks sweet! Not sure about how far the bug guard sticks up, not very low profile! I'll give it a week. The vent visors however, are prefect! Also did the front floor mats,i had the fomoco all weather ones. Not enough

Very nice. I used weathertech rain guards for the windows but went with stampede for front bug shield.

Thanks! Stampede, huh. I'll look into them if this doesn't work out. I don't like how it touches the chrome on the grill in the middle. But they have great quality and a military discount!

Yup, Stampede. I looked at the Weathertechs. I actually insisted on them because the rain guards are so nice but my local truck accessory store talked me out of it. Stampede was cheaper and looked way better. I even like the way it looks from the driver seat better. Just my .02

You do have some adjustment you can do on the grill, there's 4 bolts on top you can loosen to adjust the grill in and out. I see you're from Montana, what part ? I'm from Billings. Have you been to the Montana chapter of this forum yet found here: Montana Chapter - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Looks good. I like the Super Duty lettering.

Did I miss the photos of the vent visors? I'm contemplating the same mods.

Happy New Year

I am from Colstrip but live in Oregon with the USCG. I will try and move out the grill today. Thanks for the tip.

Hope you didn't get wet taking the pix. Thanks again.

Those vent visors look good. Do they do a good job of keeping the washer fluid off of the side windows when you wash the windshield? It's very annoying to get a water stream on the side windows when you try to wash off your windshield.

I have the weathertech floor mats and I have to say the fit/finish is much better than the huskies I had in my F150.

No it still runs across the side window, however i have found a thorough application of rain x once a month pretty much eliminates this problem

Did weathertech add the adhesive to the side window deflectors?
I have the WT side deflectors but early on in 2010 they didn't have the adhesive so they flop around in the channel when the windows are down.
I had WT side deflectors on two Explorers and they had adhesive.

I also have the WT hood deflector and you're correct, it does stick up but I like it.
