I looked intot doing that for my 49. The crown vic is just too wide for my style truck. I measured my friends maarouder and it was 3 inches wider that my fenders with the stock wheels.

That's a very well done truck. It appears it took them a year to get that far, not bad at all. The music and the wheels don't seem to fit with what I'd expect that guy to pick, tho?! Is he on FTE??

Old news for my area. My uncle has built 3 now.(and there were already several around) 1967-73 you can use the whole Crown Vic rails, 1974-79 they use Towncar rails. The 4.6L cars without keyless entry are the easiest to make run. I'm going to use the Crown Vic cross member on my 55 with a 4.6L DOHC (I think).

front tread 60"
rear tread 60"

2005 Grand Marquis
Front tread 63"

Anyone else see a problem here? Note they don't have fenders on yet.

Check it at 6:30, AX...
More interesting is that they don't seem to have moved the wheel forward in the wheel-well...

Note the strong positive offset of the wheel.

The problem is you're comparing wheel track where if you wanted to have a more accurate comparison, they should be compared at the wheel mounting surface on the hub.

The positive offset wheel you're seeing has a mounting surface about 2 1/2 - 3" inside that flat hub cap.

That doesn't help to keep those wheels from looking ugly as a mud fence.
I'm just stating my opinion.
Perhaps this (evidently failed?) project is destined for an auction site. The video -may- be a means to promote it. Yes, now I'm flat-out speculating.

It seems there's more fab work than I thought. I understood the crown vic to be an easy bolt in. I only watched the video once, and I may have missed something, but it seems there were alot of add on's to the frame to make it work. Of course, this is opinion is from a Jag ifs owner. Drill some holes, make a shock mount, done.

I may be wrong, but here's a picture of wheels for the GM without the center cap, the mounting surface is practically at the out edge of the wheel.

Look at 5:16 in the video, it shows a wheel in the box. Those wheels are aluminum, don't have hubcaps and you can easily see how much pos offset they have.
From wikipedia about the engineering changes for the 2005 GM:
The new suspension changes required changing wheel designs to those with a high positive offset.
That means the mounting surface to mounting surface difference would be even greater than just the tread width difference since you would need to add in 2X the wheel offset difference as well. Wheels with enough positive offset to correct the tread difference, especially on the rear would have more positive offset than the front wheels on a semi.

All I'm saying is if you're going to compare things, please compare apples to apples. Put the stock F-100 wheels and tires on the Crown Vic and see what the track width would be in relation to the OEM application. Of course, if you move the wheel mounting surface further outward, you can make up the difference to keep everything under the fenders by using a positive offset wheel. There's noting wrong with that. Also understand the turning arc of the spindles will be different to accommodate the wheel designed for each application. There's a lot of things to consider when doing front suspension swaps, not just wheel track.

The wheel pictured above has an indentation deep enough to fit lug studs and nuts inside with room to spare, and the wheel mounting flange is about an inch thick.
