help hiding wiring

Hi all, I am about to install my first system but I dont know how to hide the wiring. Everything ive read says to hide it under the carpet but what if you dont have carpet? i have a 90 f150 and it has the plain jane vinyl flooring. How can I make my installation look clean and professional?

What's it look like under the vinyl? I'd imagine there's a pad of some sort under there that you could tuck the wires into.

Like Matt pointed out there should be some type of insulation under the mat. You can run it down there. I've fished it under the mat beside the tunnel to the back which keeps it out of the way of wet boots etc.

running wires

I think ive figured out how to hide them, the door sills at the bottom. Is there a free hole in the firewall to run my 4 gauge power wire through or will i have to drill one?

Most likely you'll have to drill a hole especially since you're running a 4ga wire. I've done this for 10 or 12 gauge and always use a rubber grommet to prevent chafing or cut insulation.

If your truck is auto you can run through the large grommet where the clutch rod would've been installed.
