Fine tune

97 f250 460 sc a/t 95k
In the last two months
4" skyjacker lift with skyjacer m95 mono's - Firestone bags and compressor
35" nitto trail grapplers
Banks powerpack system
Ford racing wires motorcraft coppers
Msd coil
Bbk throttle body
And wet sanded and buffed headlights

The msd cap and rotor I got is wrong - mine has straight rotor not round like the one I got

After the plugs wires and coil it didn't seem to run at idle as smooth as before - I did gap the plugs to .055 Could just be my imagination I don't think there's a problem just don't seem as smooth

Did the timing bump tonight (around 12-13) man that seem to wake her up

Never paid attention but I idle at 900 in park. Sound rite?

Mine goes up to 7-8 on cold startup, then settles in at a steady 5. 9 does sound a bit high for idle...

The tps is 1.12v at idle. Wonder if I turn the stop screw on the throttle body. Looks like its all the way at the top but there might be a little bit left

TPS voltage should be 0.99v or less at idle and the stop screw is not to be touched normally, so loosen the TPS mounting screws and see if you can tweak it enough to get the voltage below 1v, and if that fails then back off the throttle stop screw a bit.

Non adjustable tps - might try stop screw
TIMING BUMP UPDATE. Response and performance very noticeable
MPG INCREASE I am recording my fuel now and it seems to be around 8 towing
But today my trip that has been taking almost 3/4 of a tank (consistently) only took 1/2 VERY IMPRESSIVE
Bumped it to around 12. Might try a tad more after today

Advance the timing as far as you can take it, WITHOUT it pinging

Make sure there are no vacuum leaks before you start messing with the stop screw.. A small vacuum leak can and will cause idle problems.
