I found Philco AM radio in pretty good shape in the jy, but it did not work I payed $ 15.00 for it, so next I took it to a stereo and video repair shop, replaced old capacitors and cleaned up the tuner, push buttons and it sounds great all for $ 80.00.it even has the green glow lite isn't that cool.
If your is in good cosmetic shape try taking it to a shop maybe it worth fixing.

It's quite a ways from where you are, but I"ve had great luck with this guy:

Delco radio repair, car stereo & auto radio repair and precision radio repairs.

He's located in San Antonio, Texas. I've had him do two Ford radios for me recently and he's very reasonable on his prices. He's been doing Delco radios since the '70s for GM warranties. The two he did for me cost less than $75 each to repair. Of course, it depends on just what needs fixing as to what the cost will be.

You need a radio from a 1976/79 F100/350 or 1978/79 Bronco.

Nothing else will fit in the dash bezel correctly!

You have two choices: AM/FM monaural or AM/FM Multiplex Stereo.

I used an am/fm radio out of a 78 f150 in my 74 f250. Fits the dash fine, I just had to adjust it some..

I have an AM only unit that came out of a 76. It worked before I pulled it. If you want it and the mounting bracket, let me know. I only want the shipping paid for.
