autozone pads review

I replaced my pads and the original resurfaced my rotors at 78,000 miles.
I have 99,000 now.

I put Duralast Gold Super Duty in the front, Duralast Gold in the rear.
All 4 rotors were resurfaced.

I have not noticed any squeaking or any other problems, or decrease in braking performance. The brake pads performed exactly how I would want them to.
They dust, but then I dont wash my truck often. Probably once every 3 months.

And since they are from autozone, I get to replace my pads for free.
As long as they do not ware all the way to the metal I get new ones for free. There needs to be a little bit of pad left.

Hoping to share the word about my opinion. Hope to hear others about them.

I'm a cheap a$$ and even I only use Motorcraft brake pads.

"If a part fails during the warranty period shown on your receipt, bring the part to any AutoZone store and you will receive a replacement or refund. Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, abuse, other faulty parts, improper installation or off-road, commercial or marine use. Warranties on replacement parts cover the unused portion of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer. Warranties expire when you sell your vehicle.

Normal wear isn't covered by any warranty.

Pretty much all parts stores have a lifetime warranty on brakes. This includes normal wear and tear.

Never had luck with a single part I've purchased from AZ. It's not worth the time to bother going back there for me. Don't even dream of using their rotors/drums for anything outside of a lawn mower.

I've had excellent luck with AZ's ceramic brake pads, they dust very little and yes they do replace them for free.

Not to throw brake dust in the wind...

Motorcraft pads are good for nearly 100,000 miles and not made in China.

That is always the deciding factor for me when i purchase something and all a lifetime guarantee means is that they are selling you a guaranteed piece of crap
