Mustang II kit install
I am currently working on a Mustang kit install and wonder if anyone has worked through the whole process and what kit they used and any tips on making it flow together. Tried a search but got a whole bunch of different topics and not really covering an actual install. Thanks, Paul

I have the Fatman kit and currently got the old axle pulled and boxing plates welded in. Even though the plans and directions are good just wondered if there are any other details or tricks to make the work easy. Looks like mostly time and accurate measurements rather then a lot of heavy fabrication.

I think it reccomends a inch forward. I tig welded the hats on because that just looked better. Yea just measure it and measure again and tack and measure and then do the final welding.
What are you doing for the back end? I wish I had seen the lincold irs kit that is on the market before I c'd the back of my frame. I think that would be cool to have that under my truck.
