Broken bolt on 302 water pump
When removing the water pump from my '69 bronco 302, the bolt on the passenger side front of the motor snapped. I got the pump off and when trying to remove the broken bolt, it snapped again, breaking off on the inside of the timing chain cover. Should I remove the timing chain cover and everything else necessary to reach the bolt - or does anyone have any ideas if they think it might be possible to drill that bolt out with reverse drill bits, etc. ?? I really do not want to have to remove the harmonic balancer and the cover for the timing chain if I don't have to. Appreciate any thoughts or ideas. I've got it soaking with PB blaster while I consider my options. Thanks!
