Merry Christmas from the cold & windy fort. It was a nice steady rain at 0630 when I got up. Now just windy...looks like Jeff and them are getting most of this stuff right now. What a lucky guy.

Bah Humbug! Glad it's about over. Be glad to hear something besides X-mas songs on the radio :-)
Not raining or snowing at the moment, if it does snow I want it 3' deep, just go ahead and shut everything down ;-) I'll just cuddle up with my sweetie till it goes away :-)
We lost power about an hour ago, and white county is in a freaking blizzard warning. I'm guessing the power crews aren't going to be working until the weather front moves through, don't really see how they could even if they wanted to.
So yea I'm guessing there will be some cuddling tonight.

Both of the country stations up here have been playing nothing but Christmas music since early yesterday morning. I know exactly how you feel.

Are your kidding? If they had a SuperDuty there wouldn't be a single thing wrong with the snow outside. We just got back from running a couple of errands (went and seen a family member in the hospital, among a couple of others) and didn't have any issues. I know the limited slip rear end makes a difference...but it's hard to get the Princess to cut a couple of donuts.

Don't see a single thing wrong with that.

They say little Rock got 9" or so. It's 6-7" in my driveway, and drift on the leeward side of the house is over a foot deep. Pretty cool!

I stand corrected. Fired the tractor up to clear a spot for the dog to do her business....... there is way more than 6" of snow here. More like 10"

While I agree there's no such thing as too much power...if I give those ponies under the hood too many steroids Scott will get upset. Since I'm the minority around here...I have to watch my self and not upset the locals/moderators.
Besides, those Michilins aren't exactly cheap (cough, $1k a set)...so I try to take care of them the best I can. Got 62K miles on the set we're riding on currently. Planing to replace 'em in the spring (should be close to 70k) and that's only because we're making a 2500 mile road trip with the 5th wheel next summer.

Better y'all that us; though the weather guessers are saying we may see freezing rain/drizzle into the overnight. Lucky us!

No freezing rain/drizzle/fog this morning. Did get a snow shower that lasted about 30 minutes this afternoon though. Was kind of neat to watch...but it didn't stick and things felt warmer this morning than when we went to bed last night.
