who's running 35's with a 6.2 and 3.73's?

I just would like to get an idea on how my truck will act with going to 35's.....thats 2" over the stock tire height so I am curios if its gonna be real piggy?

I am sure there is not much of a difference on a 6.7 due to the tons of tq it puts.

Anyone running this combo?

How bad bad did it hurt the acceleration?

Mmmm... I still have 3.73's and 35's (with a 7.3) always thought I would change them out, but I like 19-20 on the highway, I still pulled a loaded TH that was about 10,500# and never wanted for power. I would figure the 6.7 having more of both would be just fine.

well I am not too concerned with gas milage my main concern is performance this 6.2 runs real goob but does not have the tq of a diesel.

I am sure there has to be someone on here with a new 6.2 that has put 35's on.

I have 35's, but with the 4.30 gears.

User RAPR has 35's and 3.73's, you might try pm'ing him. I can't remember who else is running that combination of tire/gears. You could search through the 6.2 forum, I'm sure there are more out there... I found another one, user Byram is running 285's on his truck (3.73 gears), which is close to a 35.

how much lift do you get with the leveling kit....1-2" is that all thats needed to run 35's?

You can get 35's under there without any lift from what I've read, but the leveling kits range in sizes. I have a 2 1/2" Readylift (stage 2).

If you have a F250, your truck may already be close to level depending on what options your truck has/doesn't have.

I will be running Toyo 37's with a 6.2 and 4.30 gears which is close to a 35 with 3.73 gears. Already got the tires just waiting for the truck to arrive!

yeah its a 250 4x4 and its close about an 1 1/2" difference from front to rear.

I love the way your truck is sitting, it may be a few months but I want to go 35's that may do it for what I am looking for since the tires themselves are 2" taller.

I have not decided if I want to go a 20" wheel or stay with the 18"s and I would still like to hear from someone that has done it with 3.73's....hopefully it does not affect the acceleration too bad.

I have pretty close to 35" on factory rims, not lifted/leveled. Mileage doesn't seem to be affected that much, I also have the 3.73 rear end. Hasn't really felt like a slug. I will add that the tires went on about 4 days after I bought the truck. Factory tires were 265/70R17, new rubber is 315/70R17, or 34.4". Make sure and have the dealer re-program your truck to a more suited tire size. The closest they will come is 275/65R20 I believe, which is around 34.1".

I have 6800 miles plus on the setup you are asking about, I really can't say the truck lacks that much more pulling power as it has never really impressed me anyway (I should have order it with 4:30 gears). The mileage still sucks (9.5-10mpg) runnning 75-80mph but if I drive 65-70mph I get 11.5-12 mpg. I love the way the truck looks with 4" BDS lift with 18" wheels and the 35" tires. In town the truck still runs as good as it did before the lift and tires, but on the highway in a head wind it shifts down quite a bit. Pulling my 9000 # boat works it a little and the trans is always in 4th or 5th gear running 70-75 mph.

9.5-10mpg is that towing? I am able to get 14.5-15 at 75-80mph and if I back down to 65-70mph it will do 15.5-16 this is of course empty.

I am thinking of maybe going 35/12.50/20 but not 100% sure on the 20" wheel.

did you do the lift before the tires? The 35"s will go on stock suspension correct?

How about a pic of your ride????

I didn't go with the 12.50 width tires because I didn't like that I was pushing the width range on the factory wheels. Some have done it without any issues, but I'm becoming less willing to experiment with safety concerns these days...

The tires I have now on my stock wheels are a 35x11.50 (tire is 285/75/18).

I wish my mileage numbers were towing, I only get 6-7 towing, those number are empty My tire size is 35x12.50x18 and really don't stick out that much. I really should have went with 11.50's like Sliverbullet did but......... we did try the new tires before the lift but they were to close for me so I did the lift first.
The site won't let me post a picture, send me you PM and I will send it there.

I have a 2011 F250 6.2 3.73 CCSB with 305/70/17 Tires (about 34)
My mileage dropped about 1-1.5 MPG, but no real loss in power. I am selling these wheels and tires this month to add the soon-to-be-shipped Toyo MT in 37x20
Old mpg was 12-13 normal driving
New MPG is 11-12 with normal driving - If I grandpa the truck I can get 12.5 with the 34's

Damn....is it the 4.30 gears killing you or you just have a really big right foot

I dont drive like a 90 year old granny but I also dont drive heavy footed.....its a good mix of both and still average 14 in the city also 3.73's helps me.

I am gonna go differnt wheels when it comes time I found a nice set of Moto Metal I really like black centers with a polished lip. I just dont know if I wanna go 20"s or stay with the 18"
