Front Fender Repair Panels?
Hi i have a 94 F150 that i bought a couple years ago and after 18 years of hard Maine winters it is time for some body work and new paint. I have the panels for the typical wheel well and quarter panel rust but on the front fender it is just the lower part of the fender that is rusted the rest of the fender is in great shape.Hate to just junk both fenders and get new ones.Does anyone know any place that sells them lower panels i can have welded in? Thanks for any help!!

TOTALLY agree with Puddy and bashby
It takes about 2 hours to swap a fender, is that too much effort on your part?
If the fender has hole in it REPLACE it. How cheap and lazy are you guys. An aftermarket fender is about $90 and OEM one is about $200 and Used fender is about $50
And if you just did the rad support, work SMARTER not HARDER. What I mean by that is kill 2 birds with one stone. While you had the rad support out, it would of taken another hour(tops) to replace both fenders. They way you work, you might as well do ball joints then a month later pul, it all apart again to do axle u-joint

Also think about it this way. Anywhere you cut, grind, and/or weld is going to be a very good place for rust to start again, a complete panel won't have this disadvantage..
Don't be insulted, the folks here are just trying to keep you from making a BIG mistake on a small panel like a fender, and having to do the job again in a year or so..

I don't think that would cause a fender to rot out.
But it is the cause of water leaks in the cab, when the drains clog with 20+ years of crap, leafs and dust gets in there, they clog and drain to slowly, water comes up and enters the cab from behind the dash etc.
Are you fenders rotted like mine were on my '94?
If so, that's just from a lack of mudflaps!
