Goodmorning Guys & Gals,
I hope you all had a great time bringing in the New Year!
What is/was your New Years Resolution? (if you made one)
We didn't go anywhere like I had planned. We had bought a bottle of Champane earlier in the day to celebrate w/ our neighbors, but it was just way too cold for them to go out or stand around the campfire. They went to bed early.
We did a campfire though, but by 8:30pm Kaedon & I were like...forget this! She wasn't feeling well & we couldn't feel our toes, so we came inside to thaw out. LOL! Jimmy & Karl weren't too far behind us. We ended up watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year Eve & I gathered up anything I could find to wake up the neighborhood. (airhorns, cast iron pans, me - soccer mom voice, etc.)
So, we brought in the New Year at 9pm - East Coast Time! We stood outside & made all kinds of noise for a good minute or two! I think I had more fun than my kids! A couple of our neighbors heard us on the street behind us, but I didn't see anyone's lights come on in their homes anywhere else in our neighborhood. Hmm, I must be losing my touch!
After we finished the bottle of Champagne, I went to bed shortly there after, so I don't know if Jimmy & the kids brought in the New Year at midnight or not. All in all...it was fun & a great way to bring in the New Year!

Good Morning and Happy New Year to all of FTE !!! My wish for 2013 is that for the most part 2012 is NOT relived !!! I had a chance to go into Vegas last night... but a "gut feeling" said stay home... so I did and all was good !!! I've got friends and family in all time zones ... even Alaska and Hawaii. I stayed busy on Face book or the phone all night. Now it's time to roll out for the breakfast buffet.
Have a nice Year !!!

Hey trucksters! Happy New year.
We had a good time playing dice with our next door neighbors. [they don't drink, so we didn't either.]
Came home a little early but we were still awake for the new year. Woo hoo!
Still pretty cold up here but the sun is bright. Time to walk the dogs.

Morning NV & FTE friends & family,
Hi Jim!
HI Gerry!
Hi Pat!
Glad that everyone had a safe New Years Eve.
My 2012 actually ended on a bad note, however I look at it as a positive for 2013!
The guy that was buying my older mobile(rental) in MoundHouse has never paid on the 1st of each month like he shouldv'e & other than late fees, I pretty much let it slide. So, our original agreement, he agreed to have the house paid off no later than December 2012. So I called on the 31st to find out where my money was, only to find out that he's now in jail for the next 4 months & there's no money set aside for me. So, he defaulted on the contract agreement & the house is mine again!
So, now I have to go through the steps to legally get him out of my house & move his stuff!
On the plus side...I already have another interested buyer that has cash upfront for the house.
