Installed aftermarket v in front and modded b in rear both from sdtruck springs.. Rides and handles better, however for some reason front is an inch higher than rear. How can I make the rear an inch higher without making it ride any stiffer.. Do tow camper and a open trailer with ATVs .( not at the same time) trailer 9000#s... Probably wouldn't of had this problem with oem springs.
Same thing with mine when I have a full tank of fuel. When I have a half tank, she sits level. But when I load her, she still doesn't squat like before. So I will either add the blocks (like posted above) or put in airbags to level mine out.
The title is misleading!...
We all like to gain an inch
mine has an add a leaf, and the blocks, my local spring shop said they will pull the add a leaf and re arch the springs so I can get rid of the stacked blocks that are on it now.

Seem that everyone here do not recommend re-arch the leaf, the prings has been compromise, plus how much does the shop charge to re-arch the spring and the labor to take off, reinstall?
Best be is to find a used V or X, and B codes or even new from Ford, cost a little more but only do it once.

mine has a 4 inch lift, and when the PO lifted it they put the add a leaf under the main spring on the pack so there is space between that and the others in the pack. They were going to charge me $300-350 to R&R it and they were going to re-arch the springs to get rid of the second block, they said the spring rate of the springs stays the same, I am doing it to get rid of some axle wrap that it has, due to the add a leafs location, I had talked to them about some ladder bars, but they said if they do that I would not need them on such a small lift. I trust them, but would love to add some anyway, just for the added security, since I am planning on giving Momma a flip chip in the future once the truck is prepped for it, plus they look tough.
It rides decent now, though my wife thought it was a tad rough, I said it's a truck babe, the bilsten 5100s ride pretty good on it, and work even better when it hits the rough stuff.
Sorry Stewart, I will take my spanking for the previous vid...
