need motor mount school 53 f100 239
I'm having my 239 flathead overhauled and this seemed like a good time to re-do the motor mounts. I've got the "1948 - 1956 Forf Truck Parts and Accessories Illustrated Catalog". I can't seem to find the 1953 239 front motor mounts. I see several other v8's just not the 239.
My second question has to do with how much of the mount is usually replaced? For the rear I see castle nut bolt bushing and a couple of pads.
Do you just replace the pads unlesss something is totally worn out?
Thanks

Just replace this part, unless something is broken.
The rear mounts have two pieces. There is a small rectangular piece that goes under/inside the cross member, and a larger piece that fits over/around it. You need to replace both pieces on each side to do it right.
