Options for cheap wheels?
I need tires for my truck, so if I'm going to buy wheels I might as well do it now since the finish on my wheels factory wheels are peeling off.
I'm looking for something cheap, simple design, and probably ~16.5x8 wheel. I really like the Pro Comp wheels you can get on summit racing, but I never see these on super duty's and I'm guessing this is because their load rating is only 2,000 lbs? This is the price range i would like though. What do you guys recommend that's in the same price range?
Not sure if this is the right bolt pattern
Pro Comp Xtreme Rock Crawler Series 52 Black Wheels 52-65881 - SummitRacing.com
I'm thinking about running a 33x12.5 tire. My truck is stock height as of now, but i plan to do a leveling kit soon

Edit: I'm not necessarily looking for black either. I would probably prefer a silver wheel if something is available my price range

Go to New & used cars, trucks, motorcycles, parts, accessories and type in F250 rims, then select parts and accessories from the drop down on the right, then sort by price highest first.I just got 18,000 matches for f250 rims

How much are you looking to spend as a total package? Here's one package if you want to stick with 16" rims

I would suggest not getting a 16.5 in rim...tires are harder to come by and selection is bad
i've been looking into these for awhile now for my 305/70/16

I had the same thing happen to the aluminum wheels on one of my cars.
Right before i bought new tires, i just took the weights off the front, used some aircraft stripper to remove the peeling clear coat and refinished them.
I used an etching primer and metallic black, but you could easily just scotch-bright them and re-clear them if you would like.
the nice thing about doing it right before new tires is you don't have to be careful or mask, just spray and go. let em dry for a day and get the new skins mounted. cost me about 15 bucks and the paint is still holding up fine after 3 years or so.
'course .. if 'ya just want new wheels ... good excuse as any, i suppose, but if you just don't like them looking like crap, a custom paint job will get ya there too.
just a thought.
