Where on frame is vin?
Hi all,
I just bought (what I think is) a '63 F100 unibody long bed.
The vin on the door is F10JK343704 but the registration says it is a '66?
The PO thinks the doors were changed to a '66 and brought the vin with them, but the body line is straight on the doors so they must really be '63's.
The engine has been changed to a V8. I can't find the vin on the passenger side frame. The newer engine mount might be on the vin covering it up.
Can anyone measure for me and tell me where the vin is supposed to be located?
I know it is supposed to be between the axle and the firewall but so far all I can see is blank space.
Any ideas?
