Where did you mount it

Well, lots of talk on what tuner, should I delete, yada, yada, yada, how about other than the windshield or a pillar pod, where did you mount it. My lowly 2 WD KR has a nice spot that only this back up noise on/off button(that I never used) used to be. Best part is there's plenty of room behind the faceplate for the button and all the extra cord you might have leftover from your installation. A little velcro and the job is done, no cutting or mutilation needed.

Yeah. I have found it to be a good place. I had have the tcs and my 4x4 is on the floor so that was the natural place.

My screen is big enough that I actually had it down below the hvac controls where your additional cup holders would be . Had it there on a suction cup. It would always come off because it was too heavy.

That looks great but I already filled that spot with my Satellite Radio control. I'm over on the left side using the windshield suction mount but it's hard for an old man to see it there. I was just out there messing with it. I'd like to move it up top, I already have two GPS gizmos up there and there is just enough room left but I don't think the cable will reach. Anybody know if a regular USB cable will work? I kinda doubt it.

Thanx, I went out and checked that out. It's still to far for me to see easily. However, I found a new spot about halfway up the A pillar that seems perfect and I didn't even need a new cord, I had slack enough. I'm gonna try it out today. if it works out I'll post a pic in case any other bifocal wearers need to find a spot.

I bought the Edge unit dash mount and modified it to fit the minimax on the dash. I like to have the unit at eye level so its easier to see. There is a 1/4" gap on either side but you really dont notice it.
