Does any place make a dual exhaust kit?

I would love to put dual exhaust with some glasspacks on my 53 to help it sound a little tougher. I am looking for a kit designed for our trucks. Any company make or sell them?

Probably the best place is a good local muffler shop that has done some classics before. If your truck is completely stock you might try someplace like JCWhitney or Speedway. Somebody here will know for sure.

Waldron's Exhaust in Michigan is another source. I know they produce both stock and duals for the 1948-50 F-1 through 3. Too, I understand their quality is quite good. The big issue is the shipping costs, which can be substantial.

I would ask around locally for a good "street rod" or performance muffler shop.

then you could get a custom exhaust done right to fit your truck and not some off the shelf might fit deal..... and you can put the shipping cost on the purchase...UPS already has plenty of money

I do love hearing me some glass-packs... 'specially after a few years and they are burned out.

I too vote for a local shop. I would like to add this also. Since working with 5 litre mustangs forever I have become accustom to ball and socket fittings. These are great because you can remove the entire exhaust quickly. I always put a fitting somewhere in the big over the axle bend so that drop is easy. My truck had already been done when I got it so they already go out the back. Good luck with it. I'm sure you will enjoy.

ps.....use aluminized pipe or Stainless if you have BIG BUCKS!!

Thanks for the suggestions men. After a bit more research, I may just keep the single pipe and put a glasspack on that. It should be fairly easy and something I can do myself. I have plenty of dough to spend else where anyways. Thanks.
