2006 F250 PCM picture?

I just purchased my F250 and I do not have the key-less entry code. The dealer wants more than I want to pay if I can find the code myself. I have searched this forum and I have seen pictures of the PCM on Ebay. I have pulled the passenger glove box, the drivers glove box and the fuse cover on the drivers side. Does anyone have a picture so I can see where it is hiding?

Can someone please help me find it so I can get that should be written on the PCM?

Thanks,

James

My battery is on the passenger side but will look in the engine bay. I can't set a new code without first entering the factory code. The dealer claims they need to hook up a computer to get the code. I will crawl under the hood in the morning and see if I can find it. Behind the glove box is a black panel with 5 or 6 bolts. Could it be behind that panel?

call a different dealer. Our dealer was more than happy to give us the code via VIN lookup. We had to come into the parts department with proof of ownership (registration) and it took them all of 2 minutes to look it up.

Jameseric, while under the hood look on the driver's side. there are two batteries. What you are looking for is not under the hood. It is under the dash behind the radio. If you still have the original radio it should be printed on the back of the radio.
