• Stay away from body and Frame conversion.
• Engine modification you can do all you want.
• You like any new body style, sell your truck, and get the body style you want.

• The new conversation would no increase the resell value of your Truck., although may make it look good, but may effect your drive train and safety
• In case you need to sell your truck, limit’s # of Buyers
• In Texas you have to disclose any and all Frame work,,,,
• But if you are going do it, get it down with shop they have done and doing these type work and this is not their first experience and able to issue written warranty on their work.
Hmm, maybe it's different over here than in the USA, but here's my thoughts..............I'm not bothered about resale value as I can't tell what this truck will be worth when I want to sell it, but I'm fairly sure any improvement on it, if done properly will help it sell easier, and in my case it's definately not going to limit the amount of buyers as these trucks are so rare over here - If I could buy a newer style Excursion I would, but obviously they don't sell any, and I can't justify the cost of the F250 conversions that are selling for $80k+

I can understand the safety concerns of altering frame/body - but I cant see the front end conversion effecting the running gear or chassis strength??

You can use an 06 bumper, you will have a Gap between the bumper and grille, thats all.

Check out the last few pages in the link in my sig. I noted some differences between the 03 and 06 parts, what fits, what doesn't and why.

I went with OEM 06 headlights, grill, and header panel. 03 bumper was cut and rewelded to fit around the 06 grill.
