Thoughts on my 1990 F150's value?

I was wondering what the value of my truck is and im looking if anyone can help.

The truck is a 1990 F150 Regular Cab Short Bed.
- 70k original miles.
- Power Windows and Locks
- Dual Gas Tanks
- 5.0 V8 2WD
- Automatic Trans.
- Air Conditioning
-It is all original with the exception of a Flowmaster Exhaust (Mild Sound).
-The body has no rust and very few small bleishes from daily driving.

- Im not looking to sell it, im just trying to get an idea of what its worth, any help would be appreciated.

Im having trouble posting pics, they will be up if i can figure out how to do it.

I think its actually very interesting to see the difference in price by region. Here in Oregon you could probably get $2500-$3000. Because of the miles and no rust.

You can also go onto NADA and get the value of your truck. Low retail, average retail, and high retail.

That's a pretty broad generalization. Even up in New England that truck would be worth more than $1,000 if it's in as good a shape as it sounds. And I bet there are more 2wd trucks than there are 4wd. With a bit of weight in the bed, and someone that knows how to drive, that truck will go almost anywhere. I drove for many years in Wisconsin and never had 4wd.

Wow... has it really been that long since I last looked. Guess your right. Local craigslist is littered with cheap trucks. Never mind my earlier comment...

Gonna go with Brad, $1000...

It also depends on extras and such. Like a lifted truck will normally bring more money than a stock truck. If I was to sell mine I wouldn't consider anything less than $7000, and at that I'd have to think awhile. But I've done alot of work to mine.

I'd need to see more pics but I'd say $2500 tops if it's NICE, probably $1500-2000 range and 2K is optimistic. I have seen straight 2wd trucks and even 4wds go for around $1K but they tend to show their age a bit more You say it's got 70K but it's a 5 digit odometer so how would you prove it?

Your best gauge is going to be to get on craigslist and check the local classifieds and look for similar trucks in your area. The location will have an impact on price. I bought my F250 in the PNW and moving to southern CO it's suddenly worth $500-1000 less.

Unfortunately LIFT and extras add NOTHING to the value of a truck
