I saw it before. IMHO there was a lot of misinformation in that show.

I don't agree with an EGR delete to use this dually "off road" however, it's pretty informative on how oil cooler can plug up. I think this particular program is pretty informative and the point about monitoring your oil temp compared to your water temp, being within 15 degrees is a good takeaway.

Do the TruchU guys ever do any real work on that show? It
would of been nice if they would of done some street legal
mods and updates vs the EGR delete.

Oh well I do have the show on the record list for the DVR

Don't get me wrong. It wasn't all bad, but there were things that just didn't ring true AND their parts sales pitches just rub me the wrong way. I realize that they have to pay the bills and make a living but NOT at the expense of our members here.

There are much easier/cheaper ways sometimes and that's what we're all about. Good straight forward information AND the least expensive repairs possible.

I thought that if you had no idea what the deal was with a 6.0 when they started you would still have no idea when it was over. I liked it for getting pretty deep into the engine and showing where all the parts are, even to pulling the exhaust manifolds and showing where the tee-off for the EGR is. I didn't know you could get a pipe to remove that, to be honest. My wife was watching, so now on Monday I have to order a coolant filter...
