Hey not new to the forum but recent register. I been doing ujoints and after putting the passenger side shaft back in and the spindle on, my shaft does not set perfect in the spindle. When I rotate it (axle shaft) it catches the spindle and rubs at the top, is this normal till I get the rotor and hub and bearings and everything back on I can shake it back and forth pretty easy. Have the 44hd ttb front.

 

There is a small needle bearing and then a seal pressed into the rear of the spindle. Other than that, the 4x4 hub toothed ring is the only other thing that centers the axle. If that bearing is in there, then you are ok.

 

thank you Franklin, I put the spindle kit in while I had everything out so the spindle bearing/seal is new it will be ok then I jus get parranoid. Im gon put it back together today.
